Using Amazon Alexa

With Alexa, you can ask to play music, hear the news, check weather, control smart home devices, and more. Alexa lives in the cloud and is always getting smarter, adding new capabilities that are delivered to your product automatically. Using Alexa on your product is simple and we'll show you how.

To use Alexa, follow these steps.

Your headphones are voice assistant enabled with Amazon Alexa. With Alexa, you can ask to play music, hear the news, check the weather, control smart home devices, and more. Using Alexa on your headphones is as simple as asking. Just ask or use the Voice Assistant button and Alexa responds instantly.

Note: Amazon Alexa isn’t available in all languages and countries.

Set the Voice Assistant button to Amazon Alexa




Before you begin, make sure your mobile device is connected to a Wi-Fi® or cellular data network.
  1. Open the Bose Music app. Connect your headphones to your device and select them in the app
  2. Tap Settings > Voice Assistant, and select "Alexa." You may need to tap "Setup and Settings" below Alexa to setup your headphones in the Alexa app

Using the Voice Assistant button

The Voice Assistant button is used to control Amazon Alexa. It’s located on the right earcup.
Things to try What to do
Talk to Alexa Press and release the Voice Assistant button. After you hear a tone, say your request.
