An LED light bar is located on the front of the soundbar. The activity of the light bar provides you with information about the status of the soundbar in relation to the selected source.

A red light appearing to the left of the light bar indicates the voice assistant microphone in the soundbar is off. Tap the Microphone Off icon on top of the soundbar to re-enable the voice assistance microphone.
Pulsing White indicates the soundbar is connecting to a Wi-Fi® network. When the Bluetooth® mode has been selected, this activity indicates the soundbar is connecting to a Bluetooth device.
A flash of White light indicates the soundbar has received a signal from the remote.
Solid White fading to Black indicates the soundbar has connected to a Wi-Fi network. When the Bluetooth mode has been selected, this activity indicates the soundbar has connected to a Bluetooth device.
Pulsing Blue indicates the soundbar is in Bluetooth mode and is ready to connect to a new Bluetooth device.
When the light bar pulses twice, this activity indicates the list of devices paired to the soundbar has been cleared.
A small White light appearing on the left indicates the soundbar has received a volume down command.
White light sliding to the center then glowing solid indicates that Alexa is listening.

Pulsing Amber four times indicates a playback error has occurred. Refer to the Bose Music app for more information.
Pulsing Red four times indicates your request could not be completed due to the service being temporarily unavailable. Try the request again later.
Solid Red indicates an error with the Soundbar that it cannot resolve on its own. If this light bar activity occurs, please contact Bose customer service.
