Pairing with a Bluetooth® device

SoundLink® around-ear headphones

in order for any bluetooth enabled device (smartphone, tablet, etc.) to operate with your headphones, the device and the headphones need to be paired. once the headphones and a device have been paired, they will automatically reconnect when turned on.

to pair the headphones with your device:

Slide the control module power switch to the “on” position so the green color is visible

press and hold the multifunction and volume + buttons together until the bluetooth indicator blinks purple. the headphones are now discoverable and ready to pair with your device

turn on your bluetooth enabled device, assuring bluetooth power is "on" in the device

on your device, locate the bluetooth device list and select "bose ae soundlink"

if your bluetooth device asks for a passkey, enter digits 0000

note: if the bluetooth indicator does not turn solid blue, the wireless connection has not been made.

turn the headphones off and repeat steps 1 to 5
