Make sure the iPod® or iPhone® EQ is set to "Flat" or "Off." The EQ settings affect its audio performance when connected to the system. The system is designed to be used with the EQ set to "Flat" or "Off." You can adjust most iPod or iPhone EQ setting by following these steps:

- Select "Music"
Note: Some older devices do not have a "Music" option. In this case, skip to the next step. - Select "EQ"
- Select "Flat" or "Off"
