You can use this method to configure the Wi-Fi network of the soundbar by first connecting to its own Wi-Fi network, then providing the soundbar with your home's Wi-Fi network credentials.
Connecting to a Wi-Fi® network - Alternate setup method

On the remote, simultaneously press and hold the TV icon and Skip Back buttons for 3 seconds. When the light bar on the soundbar glows Amber, the soundbar is broadcasting its own Wi-Fi network for setup
On your mobile device or laptop, go to its Wi-Fi settings screen and connect to the network name that begins with "Bose Soundbar"
Once connected to the soundbar's Wi-Fi network, open a web browser, type 192.0.2.1 into the address bar and press Enter. The Wi-Fi Setup page will appear
Select your home's Wi-Fi network name from the drop-down list and enter its password
If you don't see your network, select Manual Setup at the bottom of the screen and enter your network name, security type, and password.
Click Submit. The soundbar will then disconnect from your device and connect to the configured Wi-Fi network.
Open the Bose Music app and add the soundbar to your account. You may need to tap the My Bose icon in the upper-left corner, then tap the + icon if the app does not automatically detect the new system on the network.
